Cherie Clarke

Cherie is the Crown Solicitor for New Plymouth and Whanganui. She leads a team of lawyers prosecuting serious crime in the Taranaki and Whanganui regions.

Her litigation experience began in 1993 and includes time as a criminal defence barrister. She has appeared in the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court, and other jurisdictions.

Cherie is a faculty member of the New Zealand Law Society Litigation Skills Programme and a member of the New Zealand Bar Association / Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o te Ture.
