Cherie is the Crown Solicitor for New Plymouth. She leads a team of lawyers responsible for prosecuting all serious crime in Taranaki.
Cherie’s litigation experience commenced in 1993 and includes time as a criminal defence barrister. She has appeared in the Court of Appeal, High Court, District Court and many other jurisdictions.
Cherie is a faculty member of the New Zealand Law Society Litigation Skills Programme and a member of the New Zealand Bar Association/Ngā Ahorangi Motuhake o te Ture.
